Scouting around Telluride, I found this old ranch homestead the day before. It had been in the afternoon and the
light wasn't good. I noted the above ridge and planned on sunrise. Marking the site in my GPS, I explored the
area some more and found a campground nearby for the nights stay. Up an hour before sunrise the next
morning, I drove the twenty minutes back to the ranch and set up. I relaxed and ate some breakfast, watching the
cattle graze, and awaited the first light of the day.
