I had scouted out this shot the day before. They stopped plowing the road a little over a mile away from the barn.
The next morning, I awoke in Jackson and drove out. It was -6, so I layered up and started the hike. Fog hid any
potential danger from moose, elk, or buffalo. I would randomly stop to listen for any nearby. The light was coming
on fast so I tried to hurry my trudging through the snow. I arrived at the barn, pouring sweat and worked quickly
to set up before I froze. This shot was challenging to get, but was rewarding with the fog and the soft pre dawn
light on the Teton range.
