Moraine Lake is a very popular stop behind Lake Louise in Banff National Park in Canada. I had arrived before
sunrise, hoping to catch the first light on the peaks. Full clouds that morning had other ideas though, and I was
shut out. The forecast had called for partly cloudy, so I figured if I hung out and waited, the clouds would open
up at some point, possibly spot lighting the peaks behind the lake. Sure enough, a few hours after sunrise the
light began to poke through, lighting up the peaks here and there. I waited until the light opening grew a bit,
illuminating the two left peaks for this shot.
