Godafoss is a popular stop on the "Ring Road" in Iceland's north. Godafoss has an interesting story about it
name. According to legend, the local elder was faced with the choice of accepting Christianity or staying with the
Viking Norse Gods. The next day, after making the choice of Christianity, he went to the waterfall and threw his
Norse God idols into the falls. Story aside, the falls is a great stop for any visitors. The falls isn't particularly large
at 30 feet, but are still highly enjoyable.
