Edith Cavell
I had been driving up the Icefield Parkway, headed towards Jasper, Alberta. I saw a great peak on the horizon
and it kept my interest as I continued north. I liked the prominent triangular peak at the top, and was thinking of
finding a nice angle for a morning shot. As I came around a bend, my eyes instantly fixed on this island in the
Athabasca River. I pulled over and began to check the potential shot through the viewfinder of my camera. I liked
what I saw, and started to  make plans for sunrise the next morning.
