I had heard of the sea stacks at Cannon Beach, Oregon and wanted to check them out. I had spent the day east
of Portland mainly shooting waterfalls, and had head back towards Portland in the afternoon. I felt like switching
it up, and knew the ocean was calling. I drove over to the coast and began to compose shots in my mind when I
saw the sea stacks. The sun had set and I started doing long exposures, timing the waves so the beach was
covered in a thin skim of receding water. I placed the setting crescent moon next to the stack, and captured this
Edition of 250.
