Me at the iconic Maroon Bells, Colorado, fall 2013.
Thanks for checking out my landscape photography. This all began around 2004 or so, after I had graduated
from community college. I had gotten a job that required a lot of travel. It took me to places I had not been to
before, like Tennesee, Phoenix, Yellowstone, etc. I wanted to take pictures of these places, so I bought my
first digital camera, a 2MP Fuji point and shoot. After moving to the Omaha area, I was posting on an Omaha
discussion forum, and began to wonder why other people's pictures were better than mine. The quest to get
better had begun. I soon got my first DSLR, a Nikon D50. I spent countless hours learning, reading
photography forums, websites, etc, all in the search for knowledge. Also, as they say, practice makes
perfect. I'm far from that, and the process of improving is never ending. I still have lots to learn, and even
more places to go explore and photograph. Now based out of Denver, Colorado, I've been focused on
landscapes for the past few years. I truly enjoy traveling and chasing after these shots, and I hope that you
enjoy the results as well.

Thanks, Josh
